Are laptops allowed in carry on baggages when travelling in japan?
Hi, im traveling to japan from manila next week. I'm just curious, are laptops allowed in carry-on baggages in japan? i'm visiting tokyo and osaka only. thanks for your help! it's because in British airways, laptops arent allowed along with some electronics because of the terrorist attacks

Yes, my husband flies with his laptop all the time. Just make sure you have a sturdy case for the laptop.

Of course it is! You will have to take it out and place it in the bins when going through the security checkpoint, but that's just to prevent damages. It's perfectly ok! Just disable the wireless when on the plane and turn it off during take-off and landing ^^.
