I have a Vaio Laptop that I imported (for a really low price) from japan, how do I set it to english?
I bought a japanese Vaio laptop and I need to know how to reformat the HDD from its japanese mumbo jumbo to an english windows XP, it has a japanese version of xp already installed. I would preffer to use dos but if there is another (perferably english) option I would be grateful. its Dos is also in japanese, and I cannot figure out what to type to reformat it.

well you should be able to select it on the desktop after you right click

perfect chaos is so dumb! lol reformat dude its the best option otherwise you still gonna get warnings etc in Japanese

Get a lap top which is already set up in English to guide you through or make a match b/n the two computers and do the following in both computers: settings -> control panel -> date, time, language, and regional options -> regional and language options and choose English.
