Answer 1 :
yes it will work. how much depends on which computer you want.
Answer 2 :
It will work, price wise you may get a decent discount if newer models are on their way.But generally speaking a Mac is much the same price worldwide.I was tempted last year but had an idea that new models were on the way so I didn't.Do you want a laptop or a desktop.Try for duty free,at say Bic camera or shop around the electronics stores in Tokyo,Osaka. Good luck.
Answer 3 :
yeah, not without interpreter, though

Will a DVD from Japan play on a US DVD Player

Will a DVD from Japan play on a US DVD Player?
I wanted to get the Naruto Blood Prison movie when it came out on DVD in Japan. I know, it just came out in theaters and I know it won't be on DVD until like April or May 2012. So when it does come out on April or May 2012, would the Japanese DVD play on a US player? I also have a PS3 if that helps and a laptop.

Answer 1 :
No, it won't. DVDs are coded by region. If you try to play a DVD in a player that's designed to play a different region (e.g., you put a Japanese-region DVD in a North American-region DVD player) it won't work. However, if you put the DVD in your laptop, it should play. A window will open and prompt you to change the region on your video program. Go ahead and do that. If you go to watch one of your "normal" movies, it will prompt you to return the region to your original region. It depends on the computer, but sometimes there's a limit on how many times you can change the region (usually only 5 times). I have no idea if it will play in your PS3 or not. My guess would be...no. But it might

I don't even know if this is a serious question, or if this is supposed to be some sort of racist joke. What the fuck do you think is gonna happen, the Japanese are going to kamakazi your "Dishonorable American laptopu!" or something?
Answer 2 :
Lol, what a silly question, And ppl, theres no need to freak out, Yes, your computer will work with the internet in Japan.
Answer 3 :
Please don't worry about whether or not your laptop will be compatible; it is. Whether it's a Mac or a Windows system, you'll be able to log into any location with free wi-fi access. Keep in mind that in certain locations (such as hotels and airports), logging in might bring you to a Japanese webpage to give you information about the wi-fi services. In this case (or any time you're online) please remember this kanji: 英語 This is Japanese for "English." You can plug it into your search function (CTRL+F) to find it faster. Many larger websites provide English support. Just click "英語" and you'll be brought to the English version of the website, assuming there is one. Good luck and enjoy yourself! Bonus tip - American electronics will work if you plug them into Japanese outlets, but the reverse isn't always true.
Answer 4 :
Minh Nguyen, chill. as for the question, no. i think you should be fine.
Answer 5 :
Yes, if your computer is already set up to use wifi then you'll be fine. IF you can find any wifi. It isn't everywhere, and where it is it's usually for a fee not for free.
Answer 6 :
You can use your American Laptop anywhere in the world - please bear that in mind
Answer 7 :
