I'm travelling from Las Vegas to Japan and would like to know what I'll need to plug in my laptop at the hotel while I'm there.

Answer 1 :
If your laptop has a 3 prong plug, you'll need an adapter that changes it from 3 to just the two (without the 3rd grounding prong). It will cost about a dollar or two. You do not need any voltage changing adapters.
Answer 2 :
Check the bottom of your laptop to see what voltages it can accept. Japan runs at 100v and today's laptops will almost certainly be ok with it. Then take a 3 prong to 2 prong plug if you need it, and you will be all set

Answer 1 :
yes..you can use it anywhere just be sure to get a new charger as yours is not built for Japanese outlets and it may break your laptop.
Answer 2 :
Of course you can use your laptop in almost everywhere in the world. But be careful about the voltage of that country. Some countries are using 220V-240V. So you may need to use a new charger. That's all...
Answer 3 :
Yes you can use it worldwide - Notice your power adapter says "100 - 240 V" and "50Hz - 60Hz", meaning it can accept both North American power (110 volts), most overseas power sources (220 volts), or Japanese power (100 volts). All modern laptop power adapters will convert the power automatically for you. This is often called "autosense" technology. The only thing you may need is a small connector to fit the plug into the Japanese socket

Answer 1 :
I suggest you contact Air Canada! With most airlines I fly, you could not take all three. However, you could certainly put the laptop into a larger purse/totebag, and that would make two items. But -- call Air Canada.
Answer 2 :
perfect. it works because it's an international flight
Answer 3 :

Answer 1 :
All you need is a voltage adapter and it should be fine. enjoy :)
Answer 2 :
Buy and adapter fit for your laptop, and if youre planning on using internet ask the company providing the service any other doubts (because they suck at explaining after youve purchased the service)
Answer 3 :
I DONT KNOW HOW PEOPLE CAN TRAVEL WITHOUT A LAPTOP, IM SURE YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THEM UNLESS YOU ARE PLANNING IN BUYING A NEW ONE. WHEN YOU ET THERE YOU WILL FIND THE BEST PROVIDER TO MEET YOUR NEEDS. HAVE A SAFE TRIP BACK TO JAPAN.
Answer 4 :
If your laptop plug is a three prong plug you will need an adapter. I don't know what you mean by service provider but if you are talking about internet yahoo bb is pretty good, their dsl starts at around 2500 yen per month
