If I bought a laptop in Japan, could I bring it back and use it in America?
I am going to Japan this summer and I have been looking for a laptop, so I wondered if I could buy a laptop there and use it in America. I was also wondering if games like Sims 3 would work on a laptop from Japan. I would really appreciate any help! :)

As long as you buy a PC clone with an all-voltage adapter, no problem with software and voltage/frequency of power (something you oddly didn't ask about). For example, Toshiba makes many such laptops
