Is it safe to plug in a laptop adapter with an output of 100v-240v here in the Philippines

Is it safe to plug in a laptop adapter with an output of 100v-240v here in the Philippines?
My dad bought a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop in Japan and decided to send it to us here in the Philippines. Every time he sends a gadget or an electrical appliance from there we have to use a transformer before connecting it to our outlets here because he said that it may blow. We have to use a very bulky transformer for this laptop and I want to be able to carry it and charge it anywhere I go minus the transformer. Can that be possible?

Answer 1 :
Yup, you can plug it anywhere you like. Philippine electricity on appliances ranges to 220v so your laptop adaptor can take the voltage.
Answer 2 :
If the device is rated up to 240 you'll be fine. When I first moved to the Philippines, I would sometimes forget to check and I fried a few of my electronic toys
